Snapz – Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Welcome to Snapz! These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy ("Terms") explain how our platform works, what we expect from you, what you can expect from us, and how we handle your data.

By using Snapz, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. 👤 Who We Are

Snapz is operated by a sole proprietorship registered in The Netherlands. For any questions, contact us at info@getsnapz.com.

2. 📌 Who These Terms Apply To

• Photographers who upload content
• Athletes (users) who browse, view, and purchase content

3. 🧾 Account & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Authentication is handled via Supabase. You are responsible for securing your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information.

4. 📸 Content Ownership & Usage

Photographers retain full ownership of all photos and videos uploaded to Snapz.

By uploading, you grant Snapz a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display and distribute your content via the platform.
• Use selected content for marketing and promotional purposes (e.g. showcasing features, social media), unless you opt out by emailing info@getsnapz.com.

We will never sell or license your content to third parties without your explicit permission.

5. 💰 Payments & Revenue

Photographers:

• You earn 90% of each sale during beta.
• Payouts are processed weekly via TransferWise (Wise).
• Snapz takes a 10% platform fee for processing and ops.

Athletes:

• Purchases are made via Stripe.
• All sales are final unless otherwise required by law.

6. 🚫 Acceptable Use

• Don't upload content you don't own.
• Don't post anything offensive or irrelevant.
• Don't interfere with other users or the platform itself.

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts if you violate these terms.

7. 🔐 Privacy & Data

What we collect:

• Email address
• Login metadata (IP, timestamps)
• Upload info (file names, EXIF)
• Payment/payout history

How we use it:

• To operate and improve the platform
• To handle purchases and payouts
• For internal metrics (never sold/shared externally)

Storage & compliance:

• Data is stored in EU-hosted Supabase
• We comply with GDPR
• You can request full deletion anytime via email

8. ⚖️ Liability & Disclaimers

Snapz is provided "as is." We don't guarantee any earnings, uptime, or search visibility.

• Not liable for missed payouts, upload issues, or platform bugs
• Not liable for errors caused by 3rd-party services (e.g. Stripe, Wise)

9. 🔄 Changes

We may update this page at any time. Major changes will be announced via email or in-app.
